Selling your genuine game-worn/player-used items through Jim's Jerseys is simple and hassle-free. Here is how it is done:

Please contact me first with a list of the items you would like to consign, and wait for my OK before shipping. The consignor would then send me the genuine game-worn/used item(s) along with a note listing your asking price(s) which includes your contact information. Please see the bottom of this page for the list of items I would not be interested in consigning. I ask that you include any information that may help to establish provenance and aid in the marketing of the item. I will send you an e-mail confirmation when I take receipt of your shipment. Ask yourself this question: would you stand behind your items 100 percent? If you have doubts or concerns, please don't pass those "lemons" on to Jim's Jerseys or anyone else!

Fees:

Items listed at $1.00 to $125.00, my draw is $25.00.

Items listed at $126.00 to $550.00, my draw is 20% of the list price.
Items listed over $550.00, my draw is 15% of the list price.

For example, if you list an item at $300.00, I take 20%, which is $60.00, when the item is sold. You the consignor receive a payment of $240.00. If an item sells at $600.00, my draw at 15% is $90.00 and the consignor receives $510.00. Likewise, if an item is sold at $90.00, my draw would be $25.00 and the consignor would receive $65.00. There are no hammer fees, listing fees, authentication fees or similar charges added.

Q) So Jim, what is the advantage of consignment over selling to a dealer directly? A) You will make more money.

Q) OK Jim, so why should I choose you over ebay? A) You may prefer my program to utalizing ebay, where low-dollar auction results are frustrating sellers and reducing the value of game-worn/used items. Also, larcenous non-paying bidders are always a threat.

Why subject yourself to the rigors and frustration of self-marketing your genuine game-worn/used items when the JIM'S JERSEYS selling power is available to you? If at any time the consignor needs the consigned items returned or sent to another party, there would be a shipping and handling fee due to help cover my shipping expense. These fees are listed on my ODERING/SHIPPING INFO page and are the same as for items I sell. The consignor may leave items in my inventory as long as they like. Ideally, these items will sell quickly. The consignor's list price will influence how quickly the item sells.

The Jim's Jerseys creed is Honesty-Integrity-Authenticity. I would expect the same from you as a consignor. Don't offer me items that you know, or even suspect, are phony. Jim's Jerseys reserves the right to refuse any consignment items if in the opinion of Jim Yackel the item(s) in question are not genuine game-worn/used or have been doctored in any manner.

I AM NOT INTERESTED IN CONSIGNING:

Jerseys with collector-restored patches or nameplates. Also, if a jersey has had a patch removed by the team, please don't send along a loose replacement patch to sell with the item.

Jerseys that have been collector-tailored in an effort to make the jersey more wearable for that particular collector.

Replica items and salesman's samples.
