The Change Makers
©2010 Jim Yackel
Change is coming, can't you feel it? When you step out of your door and into the world, don't you feel
change on the wind like a fall in barometric pressure that affects you inside with minor aches and pains, and yet is not felt on your skin, heard with your ears or seen by your
eyes? Surely now, just admit it...you know exactly what I mean.
This is not Barack Obama change, although he is a willing conduit for and tool of the Change Makers. But, the Change Makers who finance the collapse and instigate metamorphosis
to suit their
ultimately nefarious desires are in and of themselves only part of the Change. Indeed, change has been promised and change will be delivered, and there isn't a thing that you
can do to preserve the Status Quo. Some look forward to a November coming soon and believe that it will sweep in those who would stop the change -- but those swept in won't stand up to it
and can't stop it. Too many of those who will be swept in by the November brooms held by angry custodians are accessories to the very change that they will be entrusted to stave
off.
We can be like ostriches with our heads hid in a hole in the ground, thinking that the Change Makers won't see us and we won't see them, but they'll see us for sure. We can
claim to be afflicted with an acute case of Cranial Rectumitis, but the emergency surgery will be performed by malpractitioners and without anesthesia, painfully freeing our heads
to see and be confronted by all that we purported to be ignorant to.
The only thing that will stay the same will be the change. This writer can already see it taking place -- in stages being peeled like layers from an onion. I don't fear the
change because I will be amongst the diners who are excused from the table before eating the greater part of that onion. The Change Makers are busy in the shadows and outside
the periphery -- knowing that
the Obsequious Obfuscators whose smiling faces appear on the boob tube and whose words are printed on the fish-wrappers will provide cover and positive spin. With impunity and
without accountability on this earth, the Change Makers merge disparate powers and form alliances while crumbling the brittle yellowed paper of centuries-old constitutions.
Television men with good hearts and great intentions draw diagrams on blackboards in an effort to illuminate the Change
Makers, but they can't be stopped. Those depicted in chalk and photo are only the outer layers of the Onion of Change. The next layers are scarcely mentioned in conversation,
they being the financiers tucked within vaults of currency that also serve as Command and Control. But the deepest layers, the harsh core, the orchestrator of the Change
Makers -- he cannot be caricatured accurately in chalk because he is an angel cast out who changes like
shifting shadows to suit his needs. He uniforms the Change Makers by dry cleaning the grave clothes hung in the dark closets of their lost souls. He is the power hungry CEO but
even he has a master to whom he will have to answer. Yes, this angel, this CEO is a paradox of sorts. He is beautiful and yet horribly ugly. He is incredibly powerful -- able
to influence cultures, societies, media, and human's hearts -- but he will ultimately be proven to be weak. In this day and time he is able to prowl the earth like a roaring lion,
seeking to devour, only to ultimately be bound in chains and cast into a pit. But, before the chains, he will have dominion as his Change Makers are rapidly laying the groundwork
and setting up the props for his evil one-world
theocracy.
While some will scoff at the colorful word play used here by this writer, thinking him a kook or something worse, others will be touched in the spirit. They will feel something move,
not unlike an infant kicking in a mother's womb during the late stages of pregnancy. They will realize that this change is creeping up behind and off to the side -- but there is
safety and security from it. The wolf sets to pounce and the lion waits to devour, but from this eventuality many can and will escape -- and those numbers are growing as the
Change Makers seek to diminish them.
Run down that narrow path, don't waste time sauntering! Run to Him who waits for you. Run to Him who will change your heart and save your life. Run to He who is your Fortress and
Strong Tower. Run, because change is being made and time is truly of the essence. Run to your refuge, your strength, your ever-present help. Run, you will not faint. Rise up on wings
like eagles and fly...
Thank you, Jesus, for being my Change Maker and rescuer.
In Christ's Service,
Jim
